Lovell Johns was founded in 1965 and is recognized for producing high quality maps for use in print publishing, online applications and Geographic Information Systems. Lovell Johns is an accredited Ordnance Survey Gold Partner and an ESRI (UK) Business Associate. Clients include the European Commission, the AA, Yellow Pages and National Geographic.
A large range of wall maps are published under the Maps International brand and these are distributed around the globe through various distributors. The Maps International brand has expanded in the UK with the introduction of an online shop, mapsinternational.co.uk, 5 years ago. This ever expanding website not only promotes own published products but also sells a large range of other travel, leisure and educational products.

MapIT
MapIT is at the forefront of digital mapping in Southern Africa, powering the next generation of spatially-enabled technologies. Random House Struik
In September 2008 Random House South Africa and Struik Publishers announced their merger to create a significant new player in the African book publishing industry. The new company, known as Random House Struik (Pty) Ltd, brings together two of the country's most prominent book publishers under the leadership of Stephen Johnson.
The new company is 50.1% owned by New Holland Publishing SA (Pty) Ltd, with the balance held by the Random House Group Ltd in London. New Holland Publishing SA is fully owned by Avusa. Prior to the deal, Avusa held a 25% stake in Random House SA, controlled by Random House UK.
