Farm Stall to Farm StallJennifer Stern recently shared an article on her website in which she explains why she wrote Farm Stall to Farm Stall and how she hopes it will benefit readers.

Stern says that on long journeys, farm stalls are the best alternative to what she calls “MacWimpSters” – restaurants that serve sad and stale food “made from dubious ingredients to institutionalised recipes by disinterested automatons”.

Farm stalls are where you can get real food, made with real ingredients by real people, and often made with love. Some farm stalls are absolutely fabulous, some are just OK, and some are a bit dodgy, but they are all real and true, and they reflect the terroir and culture in which they operate.
