Bookslive – Jenny Morris Launches Her New Cookbook World Atlas of Food Against the Backdrop of Tafelberg

Jenny Morris could not have asked for a more beautiful day for the launch of her new cookbook, World Atlas of Food.
With blue skies, Table Mountain as a backdrop and a slight breeze from the ocean, getting together at OYO at the V&A Waterfront was a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of the end of the year.
Readers were greeted at the door with a glass of bubbly from Perdeberg Winery and lively chatter could be heard throughout the venue. Morris took a moment to thank everyone who made this journey through the culinary world possible, and for a second it seemed like the emotion would overcome her. Only for a second though, as nothing can hide the generous smile and joy that beams from the Giggling Gourmet. Laughter filled the room when Morris joked a little bit at the expense of her husband. (Let’s just say he should keep his toothbrush away from her …)
