Fun Geography Packs and Maps for Kids [Review]

Every month MapStudio keeps our Drive South Africa Facebook community members very happy, giving us loads of great stuff to give away. When a special delivery of educational packs and maps arrived on my desk, I couldn’t help but take the goodies home and give them a test drive.

As parents, convincing your kids that learning is fun can sometimes be an uphill battle. Thankfully, MapStudio has made the task a little easier with their new range of products to ensure that learning basic geography can be a blast.

Educational Pack for 9 – 12 year-olds

MapStudio has produced an educational pack for kids between the ages of 9 – 12 which includes a 300-piece puzzle of the world. There is also an inflatable globe as well as a great pack of cards that lists interesting information and the flag of each African country. Learning geography has never been this fun – this pack will keep children busy for hours.

Included in the pack is a carabiner compass key ring that children will love using to explore the outdoors or even just the backyard.

Educational Pack for 6 – 8 year-olds

For kids between the ages of 6-8, there is the Junior Pack for girls and the Junior Pack for boys. Kids are never too young to learn about the world. The pack includes an inflatable globe which kids can use to play with when they aren’t learning.

There is a pack of Africa playing cards that is included and a 63-piece colourful jigsaw puzzle of Africa – perfect for keeping kids busy.
