My First South Africa Atlas is a detailed child-friendly atlas filled with interesting ‘Did you know’ facts , suitable for most ages but more specifically 6-13 years old.

Your child will learn about natural landmarks, buildings/sites of significance,  geography/geology, climate, vegetation, parks & wildlife (including World Heritage Sites), science (including astronomy, agriculture etc.), towns (names/origins etc.),

Content boxes covering any of the following for each map:
• Colour-coded symbols
• Appropriate graphic/timeline across the bottom of each page


About the author:

Sean-Fraser-SmlSean Fraser is an editor and writer based in Cape Town. Prior to launching a successful freelance career in 1996, he was Managing Editor of the acclaimed Globetrotter Travel Series.

He has since written a number of books with a focus on the people and places of Southern Africa, including the bestselling Seven Days in Cape Town and National Geographic’s African Adventure Atlas.
