Wall Map · 9th edition · est. 1958
The Eastern Cape is really two places — the Wild Coast in the east, the Karoo in the west — and a wall map of it has to hold both without losing either. This one does it at 1:770 000.
What a wall map gives you that a screen cannot is the whole thing at once — every road on one sheet, at one scale, with nothing to pan or zoom to keep two places in view together.
- THE EASTERN CAPE AT 1:770 000
- the whole province on one A0 sheet, 9th edition
- TARRED, UNTARRED, OR STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
- freeway, national, main & secondary roads, each split by surface
- DISTANCES PRINTED ON THE ROAD ITSELF
- kilometres between points, with national & regional route numbers, toll routes & plazas
- PLACES GRADED IN FIVE SIZES
- capital or city, major town, secondary town, other town & settlement
- EVERY MUNICIPALITY NAMED
- provincial & municipal boundaries drawn, with each municipality's name printed on it
- PARKS, DAMS & HISTORICAL SITES
- national parks & game reserves, dams & lakes, historical monuments, battlesites & places of interest
- WGS84 DATUM
- the same datum used by GPS receivers & phone mapping apps

Buying this map
- Format
- Ready to Hang comes with a plastic batten fixed along the top and bottom, so a large sheet hangs flat and straight as soon as it is up. Laminated Sheet is the same laminated map without the battens.
- Delivery
- Delivery anywhere in South Africa is R250 for wall maps — one flat fee for the order, not per map, so a set of sheets costs the same to deliver as one. Orders are dispatched within 2 working days of payment; allow 3 to 5 working days for delivery.
