International, provincial and state boundaries are all drawn. Major roads and railways are shown, major rivers are named, and lakes and inland water are picked out. Cities are graded by population into bands printed in the legend, capital cities are distinguished, and international airports are marked.
Across the oceans, major shipping routes carry their distances in nautical miles and ocean depth is shaded in metres. Main coastal points are marked, mountain terrain detail is carried throughout, and the sheet is finished with latitude and longitude markers and a row of international time zone clocks.
